Been working on this the past couple of days...I was hoping to finish by her birthday!
Here is the finished piece hanging in my craft room...size of hoop is 10".

This is lovely! I love Dolly sososo much. She's hilarious and wonderful and loves the gays, haha.
Plus, I only live 45 minutes from Dollywood. And around here, you either hate it for its kitschiness or you love it for it's sense of camp. I'm of the latter category, so automatically, you've got my stamp of approval for this piece. :]

But even if I hadn't been biased, I love it, especially the eyes and nose. Those are really just on the dot. Very cool!

I grew up with Dolly, and I have always loved her.  Only Dolly can be so down to earth and yet completely plastic at the same time.  I want to hug her Smiley
