A couple of weeks ago I posted this headband ear warmer that I knitted

I decided to make a matching set, as I love the colour combination so much!

I made a pair of fingeless mittens, a scarfe and a hat to match the headband ear warmer.

The headband and scarfe were made without a pattern, they were simple enough so turned out great.

The fingerless mittens were also made without a pattern..big mistake! lol

One is bigger than the other, and one has a green stripe from where I changed colours on the wrong row!
I still have some of the wool left, so I might find a pattern and redo them at some point.

The hat is probably the thing I'm most proud of, as it's the first time I've ever followed a pattern.
I got the pattern form a 'learn to knit' book by Sue Whiting that I got from my uni library.

It was easy to make and turned out great, it actually looks like a proper hat! lol

Here's some shots of me wearing the stuff

I like being able to choose between the headband and hat, depending on how cold it is.

I went to a craft night last ngiht and decided to make a nother hat with the leftover wool from this project. It looks a bit like a clowns hat lol, and it's a bit snugger fitting than the plain green one, but I love it nonetheless Smiley

*sorry for blurry pic, I've quickly snapped it before I start some uni work lol*

I love the green!  It's my current favorite shade of green, which is my all time favorite color!

And.. anyone ever tell you that you look like Uma Thurman?
