I found the pattern on Ravelry
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/patch-doll-amigurumi-pattern

and I was thrilled until I saw that the pattern was free and I was beside myself.  I knew that my daughter would go crazy for her.
i just had to show off

She looks awesome and your daughter's face says it all!  Do you have any photos of the doll from the front?  How long did it take to piece it all together?

I worked on her here and there while my dd was at school but it worked up pretty quickly.  if I had just sat down and worked on her without having to hide, it would have only been a couple of days work.

Looks like Sally From The Nightmare before christmas. Like a crocheted version of a doll I have. She's really amazing. I love the eye work.

Smiley  I'm glad you think it looks like Sally.  that's who she is supposed to be.  but I wish I would have made her hair longer. my daughter said that she can tell who she is and so I did a great job making her.  I think that mean that she isn't about to let me cut her seams apart so I can fix the hair.

Great job! Thanks for sharing.  I would also like to make one, so I was extra pleased to see how well yours turned out. Fun.
