My brothers and I have been playing Assassin's Creed I & II, trying to not be TOO competitive, but having a ball nonetheless. One thing we all have said more than once is "Man, I want Altair's hoodie!" For those who are not familiar with the game, this is what it looks like:

From AC I

So, since they ARE twins, I couldn't NOT make them both one for Christmas! They're not identical at all, so I made them a little different from each other. The one I'm posting now was altered from a 2X sweatshirt. I basically took it apart entirely and started from scratch. I refitted it to his body, added the stitching around the shoulders, made the hoodie bigger and put the pieces in the front of the hood to aid in his "eagle vision"-- If you play, you'll understand Wink I found out (AFTER I was 90% done, of course) that they don't like pullovers, so I hastily added the zippers to both on Christmas Eve  Tongue

***I realized I had a swap project on display in the background, hence the odd star placement  Roll Eyes ***

Hoodie front

And the back

The other one is pretty much the same, I just did the hoodie a little differently. I plan on making one for myself based on the second game. AC II takes place in Italy during the Renaissance, so I thought I'd go all out with the frilly details Cheesy I'll def post when I finally get around to finishing that one.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, I've been wanting to make an AC hoodie myself except I'd put the assassin sign on the chest (small) just for fun. I can't wait to see your Ezio version......

maybe on the back you should write "I love Outlets"   Cheesy

LOL Love that suggestion Cheesy

Thanks for the comments everyone. I actually posted this on another "DIY" site, and many did not seem to get it was inspired by the game and not meant to be an exact replica. *sigh* Not everyone can be as cool and smart as craftsters.  Wink

that is so cool.
I love it.

wouldn't mind 1 for me in a darker color, and I don't even own the game let along play it.

I bet my boyfriend would like something like this.

Although since I haven't sewn in awhile I'd probably just make him a simple hoodie with an image from the game Tongue
