inspired by this post https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333544.msg3852835#msg3852835
those boots are sooo cute, and i thought to myself, "hey self. you could make some pretty neat boots too!"
so, i did  Cheesy

the finished product!

* 1 pair of black canvas mary jane flats, which, in my middle school glory, i painted all over. (names have been blurred out to protect the innocent) Cheesy
anywho, i chopped off the straps, and evened out the edges a bit.

* 1 Gap brand cardigan sweater, too big for me and too itchy anyways!
sadly, no photo of this.

* hot glue gun, ftw. i love these things!

i chopped off the sleeves off of the sweater at the seam of the armpits/shoulders, where it is kinda diagonal, you know.
i DID NOT take any length off the original sleeves, i left those babies longggg so that i could scrunch the boots as much or as little as i please!
also i did not have to take the sleeves in any, as they were already cut close and fitted. easy peasy.

here's an example of my looooong sleeves...on my leg....all the way up to my thigh! i wouldn't really wear them like this Tongue

hot glued the sleeves to the flats, as in the post i was inspired by. i don't know how to explain it, but check out the post for yourself Smiley

annndddd viola! cute lil' sweater boots! i can't wait to wear them to school and have people ask where i got them Cheesy
