I made this easy sweater for my flower girl to wear over her sleeveless gown for our outside fall wedding. Its a pretty little sweater that just goes over her shoulders.

I used a plum colored chenille yarn with a size H hook. I measured the girl from the length of the end of each sleeve across her shoulders. Then chained that measurement. I single crocheted until it was a large rectangle that would fit around her arms. I held it up to her and measured it around her arms and sewed up the sleeves with yarn and a blunt needle. Then around each arm opening and collar opening I single crocheted. Then went around and did a shell border with 5 double crochets in every other previous row's single crochet alternating the shell and a single crochet all the way around. Weave in ends.

It turned out really cute and it got a lot of compliments.
It was also super easy. I am trying to make two for myself but keep getting distracted! Smiley
Thanks for looking!

A Hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child. <3 my boys and girls club!
