I'm glad you like the Japanese one, vinnie - I was thinking of what more to add to it, because it's a bit simple, but I decided I liked it that way.

I got an excellent mushroom ATC from yell0wbright today!

I love the style, and the little person on the cap, and the stitching up the side, and, and... it's great! Thanks again!

I received from kartiana today!  yay!!!  be warned...picture heavy!!!

first we have my Bast/Ancient Egypt card and extras:

there was a little "story" along with this one.  it goes:

Turns out ATCs aren't a recent thing.  Archaeologists found this Egyptian artifact during a recent dig.  Since they understand that an ATC is to be given away and not sold, I was able to trade for it.  Pretty neat, huh?

how inventive!  she also sent these little extras inspired by papyrus/flower Ancient Egyptian art:

then came these 2.  2 of my favorite female super villains:
Poison Ivy

and my favorite of the 2, Harley Quinn (front):

back:

awesome right?  Grin

I love all of these cards, kartiana.  thank you SOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!!!

I've received two AMAZING cards recently:

First my tofu vs. bacon theme from tehbunnykins

Secondly, "Yelling Bird" from thelastkodama for my Questionable Content (webcomic) Theme. That silly bird, always yelling obscenities!

great cards...

I thought kartiana was younger for some reason...hard to believe she traded for that great Egyptian card.... Wink

the silver music card is an eyecatcher as are any of the cards with red....the hexagonal snowflakes and the pompom trim on those cards sure fun!

the mushrooms are great! what nice decorative stitching as well!

is the yellow daffodil card torn strips of paper?  I love the background texture!

ninja bacon--sumo tofu--omg--I need to make a stuffie of sumo tofu for my hubby -- he loves tofu and this card is just too funny!

and, the birdie is well done but needs his mouth washed out with soap--ha ha--I think it is so funny because we have a blackbird that sounds like he is saying that exact word!!

I rec'd this neat card from Kartiana today featuring 3 of her Peeves.  Shown here are her messy desk, a book that is (horrors) written in!! and one of those damnable lift-n-peel things that never seem to work.  Ha ha ha, I love this card!!  Thank you, Kartiana.
