My partner has been too busy to take pictures of the package I sent her so I offered to post some for her.

The "Love" Note from Jareth:

The Messenger Bag, Displaying Owl Jareth, The Worm, and the Door Knockers (Harlequin and Purple roses=Semi-Gothic Masquerade):

Ludo Pouch:

The Labyrinth Jewelry Box (Based on the book):

Inside the box is A Gothic Bracelet with Bubble Beads:

And a Mini Keychain Notebook with my partner's favorite quotes, gold-lined pages, and Ludo-footprint ribbon:

And last but not least, Jareth the Doll:

I'm glad she liked everything. Cheesy Soon I'm hoping the post office will actually deliver her package to me. They've been holding it for over a week now. Huh

This gallery is so full of amazing things... to name just a few favorites, I LOVE:

jeannebaby1's illustrations,
bobbiemay's sewing machine cover,
second star to the right's hair pieces,
verifiresis's nesting dolls,
gamemom42's shaddowbox,
MunLtStmpr's paper Jareth,
dinosaur collective's mask sunglasses (*steals idea*),
and Sparkle Motion Dreamer's Jareth doll (do I detect some extra padding in the britches? Wink).

OK, whew. Like I said - so many awesome things! It was hard to even narrow it down that far!

Oh my God did I get spoiled!!! Nessy you are absolutely freakin' amazing!

So after cutting all the tape off, I open the package to be greeted by an envelope reading "Open After!", which I did.

A mess of things greeted me underneath it, full of colors and soft textures and overwhelming squeals on my part that scared my mother into leaving the room....

Beginning with the incredibly awesome Ludo hat:

And matching scarf:

Followed by these totally sweet note cards:

Then some hand and cuticle cream (which I desperately needed--you're a lifesaver!):

And yummy looking chocolate bars (which every good girl deserves ^^):

As we come to the end...hand-spun and -dyed yarn for me to use to make something with (inspired by Toby):

It's really that neon looking. It's super bright red!

A copy of The Labyrinth on lovely cardstock (a picture of my favorite part):

And my absolute favorite item because it's just so beautiful, looks great with my skin, and because I've always wanted one but could never make one, a cowl, complete with the cutest buttons:

Those colors are gorgeous, and the detail is such a wonderful addition! Did I mention that she also hand-spun and -dyed this?

The obligatory group shot:

And that's the end! Thank you so much Nessy, you are the best! I couldn't have asked for a better partner, especially for our first swap. You are phenomenal and have such incredible talent. I hope we keep in touch after this and that your soon-to-be-true Etsy shop will be successful. Cheesy Thank you again!!!

I received this week, and I have time to post pics. In fact, I have a little bit too much time. Prepare yourself to be mildly disturbed by the amount of time I have.

First, Ariethine sent me a bottle of fairy dust that Hoggle wrung out of those evil fairies' little necks.

She also sent me a keychain that she personally nicked off Hoggle's jewels:

You may not have seen Ariethine in the movie, but during the scene where Sarah is falling from the ballroom down to the junkyard, Ariethine reached down and ripped this flower right out of Sarah's headpiece! She made it in to a pin for me!

She made me a hat that looks like Toby's outfit. That way if I can convince my husband to say, "I wish the Goblins would come and take you away. Right Now." Jareth will get confused and take me.

If that doesn't work, here is a fool proof plan! This peach will magically transport me to him!

"Oh, Ariethine, thank you!"

And finally she made me this super cool scarf so I can dress like Jareth! I've heard that people that live together long enough start to look like each other; I'm already making a great start for my kidnapping!

That's it there. Look closely.

Thank you Ariethine! I love everything!

My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things to store everything in there
And all the fat-skinny people, and all the tall-short people
And all the nobody people, and all the somebody people
I never thought I'd need so many people
