This Gingy Mansion measures 3ft x 4 ft. This ended up being a massive project for us as we didn't originally intend for it to be so big.

This was a complete family effort...
My mother in law helped me bake the walls and roof
My father in law helped me rig up the lights
My hubby helped decorate.

After loads of icing sugar enough to last a lifetime, we decorated it and it's one solid house.

Here are some pics and thanks for looking!

Chimney Detail

Front Entrance - the door was perpetually open!

In the Dark

Snowmen near the skating rink (one of the snowmen looks a little sickly)

Hard at work

Side of House

Other side of House

Back of house (alien Gingy was my hubby's touch)

This was so much fun to make!

So bright and cheerful with a touch of whimsy!  Love the family effort Smiley

What a nice job.  My three year old is sitting here with me, and she is saying "oooooh"!  I like that you used christmas lights on it, and I love the little guy shoveling!

This is so great, I am impressed by the size of it and love the use of *REAL* lights. I never thought of that and will have to incorporate that into ours next year.  Nice!!

That is amazing!  I love the lights, nice touch, I was just going to ask what kind of lights, but after a closer look they are just normal coloured lights.  I want to try using lights on my very first homemade gingerbread house that I want to make next year lol, since yours looks so nice.  I really like the trees and the people and snowmen, with the fence around it.  The whole thing is just nice.

Wow. Those are some MASSIVE slabs of gingerbread for walls!!  Who's the lucky one(s) that got to eat it afterwards?!  Shocked

The lights and figurines are a nice touch, too.  Good luck!
