-What's the occasion?  Vday &/or Anniversary

-Relationship to you - boyfriend- been together 5 1/2 years [6 years in june]

-Age - 19, sophomore in college & serious videogamer & techie

-Hobbies/Interests - the color navy blue, WWII, the beatles, electronics, star wars, linkin park, sushi, history (is going to become a hs history teacher), airplanes [wanted to fly in the navy at one time], house m.d., glee, metal gear solid, jay & silent bob, dane cook, pokemon & oldschool games like frogger & spyro, fixing/building computers, Call of Duty, video games, CNN, hoodies are an outfit staple, hot fuzz [simon pegg & nick frost are our faves], chess

-Doesn't regularly: wear hats/beanies/any winter accessories, read

-Previous gifts - scrapbook, 100 reasons why i love you, homemade cards, plush walrus, knitted scarf, dessert sushi, drawn caricatures, making each other dinner, flying lessons, picture compilation of us over the years, loveopoly [a customized monopoly board], & more i can't really remember...

-I Can: cook/bake well, beginner knit/sew, get to a craft store asap if necessary Grin

My problem is that I feel that i have done all of the generic crafts/projects for boyfriends & really want something different that he will LOVE. also, something functional that isn't a waste. there's nothing worse to me than giving/making him something & having it sit on his shelf =[

I was thinking of making this vday 'call of duty' themed, with maybe screen printing something with his ps username on it (i think a shirt is too much but can't seem to think of anything else to print it on), buying this awesome grenade shaped soap i found on etsy, & making the 52 reasons why i love you card book, but my mind stops there=[

**ANY & all ideas for both vday & our upcoming anniversary based on all his info would be greatly appreciated! even just a point in the right direction  Cheesy

lol! my bf has very similar tastes except that he reads so much!

I dont know if this will be any help but this is what I've made/am making my guy Smiley

well I made him a (HUGE-800ish) granny square quilt/blanket thing of one of his favourite 8bit characters (link)
cross stitch book marks, an embridored picture of a cartoon he drew of us, I'm making him little crochet star wars characters, i decoupaged a box with all of his favourite charctersn and some of our sayings to make him laugh, and I filled it with keyrings and little things of game charcters, stickers for his laptop etc, home made cookies/biscuits in a decorated box, a decoupged folder and two hardbacks for university, and some matching pencils. Those are the things I've made in the last few months at any rate.... (I can't remember anymore! Shocked )

OH! a notebook filled with little questions and memories and pictures and stuff :3

I hope you like some of these ideas Smiley

I've also seen an embridored Snake somewhere here on craftster that I though was really cool, and some great laptop covers, and pillow cases with a girl on one and a guy on the other sending hearts down a tin can phone thing, I describe it badly but it was so cute!

Im making a jolteon pillowcase for mine. He loves pokemon, and when he saw that I made one for my brother he fell in love with it. Since my bf is currently on deployment I plan to make a book safe with some goodies inside.

Here's where I got the idea for the pillowcase
