One more down!
34. bed caddy for iPod (2) I made two already, but they were too slim...

To make sure that I wouldn't end up with yet another cell phone cozy I cut the pieces very large, and I left out padding. So the whole thing is a little too big now, but I like it. My loop is a hair elastic thingy. This one has to go travelling with me and is supposed to hang on a headboard by the loop.
Inspiration for the from here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=359071.0

The other one is in use already. With a padded back, but not fancy at all. Works very well, I get the iPod in and out without moving around much (so as not wake DH) and it stays put.

That is a great idea, anna.  I love that cozy!  And I am fascinated by kate's quilts.  The one with the tree is wonderful.  I'm thinking of opening a wist list just to wist this one!  Oh, and I agree that the bag is gorgeous Smiley

I have finished one of my WIPs - the shawl I started in July.  It was an easy quick job, I just put it aside for a while right in the middle of it.  But here it is at last, and I think it'll do its job all right.  It's meant to be worn in bed instead of a jacket to keep the winter chill off.

ok--first of all, bethieb...I would so kick your butt if you dropped out of this CAL...I have been away for good reason but I have been watching the items you all have made and am so totally inspired to add to my list even if I can't get around to it yet...I actually do have a lot to post but I am going to need some help doing it...

And, I am hunting down anyone who drops out...we have three months...let's add some Christmas or holiday items so we can get all 50 projects done!

man--I am loving that shawl and the quilts...also, the many many items made by that1girl--wow--that afghan is awesome!

I snagged the idea for the car trash can, the thread catcher and I love the curtain!

I am roaming around and catching up, but know that you guys mean a lot to me and I miss crafting so I will switch to coaxing all of you on! 50 projects!!!  I will be curious to see the list of everyone's final tally!

Hey there Always! I have been wondering about you. Sprained wrist? That surely must be putting some brakes on in your life!
I too have a lot of pics to catch up on getting posted. Just seem to gotten lazy about the time involved in editing and posting!
I AM getting ready to make a simple wedding dress for a dear friend. Her wedding is 5 weeks away. She purchased some raw silk, and will be washing it in fabric softener before giving it to me. Since her wedding is on a shoe-string budget, I am most likely going to make her several items.
I promise! I WILL post pics again!
My most recent finished items are:
Another prayer shawl
a stringy yarn boa LOVE!
a 3-tier bridal veil, with headpiece
A special garment bag just for the veil
The crochet purse covered with roses and real pearls
36 prayer collages, all framed and put away. (I have 12 more frames for another design.)
All this stuff needs to be photographed.

I've been making a few items for STS, FINALLY finished a WIP - a totebag.  It was cut a LONG time ago when I was on a totebag kick, got sidetracked with new projects, and never came back to it until this past weekend.  None of what I have been working on lately is part of my 50 list.  I really gotta get back to my list, only a small bit left Smiley
