The baking set is so cute!

I tried to do a project this weekend (fake roman blinds) but the glue I used is super visible so I'm going to have to do something else, to bad I already ruined my miniblinds for the project.

I actually have managed to get a few things done in the last rush before I move!

Sewing machine cover, one of my 5 One Yard Wonder Projects

Coiled fabric bowl- I already started another of these, they are SO addicting once you get the hang of it!

Small over-the-shoulder bag, made from the tute here https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298929.0

This brings me up to 19/49, so I'm doing pretty good I think!

I really love that bag showing scissors and scrap-booking stuff! Bags are so much fun, I'm getting into the bag-making mood lately.
I've finished a few small crochet pieces, with beads.
Last night, necessity birthed invention. Mom was taking a small cake on the plane, and I made a bag to fit the 8" square box. it had a zipped flap to slide the cake in the bottom, and a suspended net compartment in the drawstring top. since it was 3AM when I finished, no photos yet. But, I'll try to get in the photo-editing mood again!

Well, I have been busy (with work, unfortunately..) and haven't updated for like a month! But I have completed my first swap in that time (super fun!!!), signed up for another swap, and made some octopus cupcakes!

I became obsessed with Paul the octopus during the World Cup when I first heard about him during the group play. It's kind of a joke at work, so when I was talking to my coworker about wanting to make cupcakes, she naturally suggested I should make octopus ones! And they were a hit Smiley

Pictures to come! Smiley

Waggonswest - I love the photo quilt!  And I love the baby quilt, too.  Still struggling with my old, reconditioned sewing machine  (and my total lack of experience!) so I'm not up to quilt level yet.

Spent the weekend painting, planting and playing wwith papier mache -- but didn't much finished.  Except for....

26) Fitted 3/4 sheets
I just inherited an antique 3/4 poster bed.  While I love the bed, I've had no luck finding sheets in the right size.  I've got full sheets, but I can't get a nice crisp bottom sheet without using those garter things -- which is a major announcement.  And especially in hot weather, having a nice smooth bottom sheets is sooo nice.

At the thrift store Saturday, and found four twin flat sheets for $1 each.  Really heavy-weight and smooth -- like the sheets in a great hotel.  I spent a few hours futzing around with them and a roll of 1/2" elastic and -- voila! -- nice quality bottom sheets!

(No picture, 'cuz they're plain white and don't photograph particularly well, but I'm really pleased.)
