alwaysinmyroom - yep it's painted. I found the frame at Target on clearance for $2 and just painted on it... it took a lot more coats of each color than I thought it would!  Tongue

BethieB - a cupcake stenciled tote is a great idea! I love cupcakes so much!

TheSapphireMoon - food print fabrics are awesome, aren't they? Cheesy

I just got some corn fabric from a craigslist donation to me Smiley  Not sure what to do with it yet??  I like corn, but not sure if I like it enough to have a purse with ears of it flyin' all over the place Cheesy  I am thinking market bag for the grocery store, it would be appropo for that more than anything.

Corn fabric would look cute as an apron or potholders, or maybe a casserole carrier?

I happen to have bean fabric...still have not used it!  I have no idea why I have so much food fabric...I think I was going to make a jar quilt, but now I don't want to anymore!

I can't keep up.... Bethie, I love the glass projects.  I used corn, popcorn and broccoli fabric in my brother's quilt.... trust me it makes sense.  Bags!  Awesome.  I need to try and make something like that.

I finished piecing my raw edge circle quilt top tonight.  I'll get some pictures tomorrow when the sun comes out.  Night all!

I forgot to post pictures of my dryer balls when I finished them last week (before my computer freaked out, I am still trying to remember everything I meant to do but couldn't then, lol) so here are the pics.

That was my first time felting anything, and it took a really really long time!  I don't know if I should put them over on the other craftalong - what board do they go in, and do they really count as a whole project for that?  They seem a little amateur for the felting board...but then again, they were really hard to make, so maybe they should count...idk.  What do you guys think?

Thank you Waggons!!

Gah!  May is almost over and I have like NOTHING to show for my work this month Undecided  It's all been swap stuff, and I said I would not be counting and more swap items as projects on this to make me do things for me and my family and friends.  Crumbs...there is a week or so left yet...we will see what comes of it for me!

I know what you mean. I have completed 8 total projects for this month so far, but 6 of them are for swaps. I also said I wasn't going to count swaps this year because I want to make more things for my family and myself. I am almost done with all my swap projects for this month, so hopefully I will get some of my projects done before the end of the month.

Here are those crocheted and beaded broaches I told everyone about... I ended up making a total of 34 of these. The beading varies, as I had a lot of beads to mix up. I made some with blue leaves, some with white leaves. The veins were done in the shiny floss, in either lavender, blue or white, and I alternated the ribbon. They may look alike from a distance, but actually, no two are alike.
The centers are done with either a white fresh-water pearl, or a lavender faceted glass bead. I just used up what I had on hand, for the centers, but purchased a large variety of beads for the petals. The leaves are cut in one piece, and all have 3/4" pins on the backs.

Here's the whole batch:

Wow! Those pins are awesome! I can't believe how much work you put into them.  I think I'd make three and then get tired of them! lol  I might have missed it earlier, but what were you making so many for?
