Hi, my names Raechel {Hi Raechel}
AND I'm a Craft-a-holic {applause}

Longtime Lurker, first time poster. lol

I think this is a great way to get myself motivated, and have a few people kick me if i am not on track.  So, here goes nothing.

1. At least 25 Art works big, small, whatever.
2. Make an altered puzzle.
3. Artistic rendition of myself in the year of 2010, one page per month of emotions.
4. Laptop Carrier.
5. 10 Bustle Skirts. [ I usually crank out 5 a year, so up the stakes]
6. make 50 things out of thrift store finds.
7. ORGANIZE for the love of GOD.
8. Build and decorate furniture for bedroom.
9. Make curtains for bedroom.
10. Decorate half finished Moulin Rouge/ French bathroom.
11. crochet 50 things.
12. Hold at least 10 photo sessions this year, and aim for perfection.
13. Finnish all Paper Beads.
14. Finnish Rainbow Skirt.
15. Draw at least 5 things.
  Doodles do not count!
16. Make 1 apron.
17. Make a bed comforter slip for a down comforter.
18. Make a rabid zombie bunny doll.
[ plush?]
19. Try hand at screen-printing or stenciling.
20. make a sock monkey.

That's all I have so far, but I will add to this list later.

Hi Raechel,
Congrats on being a Craft-a-holic!
That's quite a list you have. You said it was only 20, but its a huge list when you consider 25 pieces of art, 10 bustle skirts, 50 thrifty recons, and crochet 50 things, in addition to everything else you listed! You must be younger and faster than me  Grin

I for one will be cheering you on. I love looking at everyone's lists. And its even more fun when things get crossed off and pictures posted! I have several things in progress and may be able to check and cross some things off by the end of the weekend. yay

Your right.  I woke up today and I thought to myself how much I already get done in a year.  AND my list is JUST fine the way it is.  I have more than enough to keep myself busy.  [ btw, I constantly have at least 5 projects going at once.  lol]

kttgoth, I love that you will be doing a self portrait representing each month of the year. Smiley I'm having a very reflective time in my life which is resulting in self portraits.

Also, you can also count certain things and multiple numbers. i.e. 11-15. Crochet 50 things.

You make so much sense.  I wonder why I have a deathwish when it comes to how many projects I want to complete.  lol

I'm the same way ktt. I do swaps too, so I wonder just how much I'll suffer from trying to do all of my projects. T.T

Love the platypus! So cute!

I am thinking about adding "get a new flat and decorate it" as one of my projects for 2010. Maybe that's a bit big to be just one project though.  Cheesy We live in a student flat right now, meaning its a flat we can rent as long as we can prove that we are students. The problem is, we are not students any more, so when they decide to check that we will have to move. I have calculated that they should check sometime around July (based on previous checks), so by then we need to have found somewhere else to live. We both have jobs and everything (although not too well paid), so it's not really a financial problem, but it's hard to find a good flat in our town and since we have a little toddler we would really like it to be near her preschool and our jobs and not too small and we would like to find somewhere where we would like to stay for a while. No fun moving around with a two year old. It's tricky, trying to decide what is good enough or not when we have this time limit and don't know if we will have time to find a better flat than the ones we may find now.

That's not really a craft project I guess, but once we do find a flat (which I hope we will  Undecided) it will have to be decorated, and that's going to be a huge (and fun) project.

finding a flat might not be a craft project but decorating sure is. So it is one project at all. Good luck with your search!

I am collecting any kind of skull shaped beads and patches-feel free to send me spare ones  ;-)

Here's what I've completed so far.

Sweater recon you can see here https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=224654.msg3855655#msg3855655 I posted in the thread of the tute I used.

Cat throw for my parents cat, very simple it's just to go at the end of my parents bed. Back story, I live in AL but my parents live in OH. I had a stray have kittens in my basement and they came down from Ohio to pick one up and they named her Bama. Hence the Bama fabric, I'm not a Bama fan I'm an Auburn Fan but they didn't like the name Aubie so I had to swallow my pride and buy some Bama fabric.

Dress for my doll. This is MarySara who as you can see is quite old well my dog decided it would be fun to use her as a toy, not something you should do with and antique doll! I had already decided she needed a new dress (she was in a stained up baby nightgown looking thing) so I sewed up all the hole my dog put in her and made her this dress. I'm not really happy with it, I wanted to make the top a solid blue and the skirt part the print but didn't have enough blue fabric.
