oopsy - I just re-read the first page and saw that you can join in whenever - I'm sorry Ariethine - I did read it really!!  Embarrassed

Okaaaay - here's me list (I'm all for optimism - and if all else fails - I'm all for denial lol!!)

Purple is DONE!!
Red is WIP
Let's not discuss the black ones at this time... lol!!!

1) Do crafty corner Done - will post pictures when I'm not so shamefully embarassed of the 'creative' mess it's already in!!
2) Do a swear-y cross stitch like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=313867.msg3610542#msg3610542 beware - NSFW!!
3) Try out making an altered book/scrapbook
4) Record bowls
5) Make some little zipper purses - thinking of setting up an ebay shop in the next year or so, so lots of things on my list are experiments for this.
6) Magazine Bin (it's on here somewhere, but I can't find the link!)
7) Ribbon covered pens
8 Fabric bowls like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292234.0 (Does havin a ton of scraps for this count as WIP...?)
9) Try out etching glass
10) Make my own knickers (a bit of de-stash for good measure to practice on) Cut out ready for sewing up
11) A monster phone cozy
12) Finish my housemate's granny square blankie
13) Finish my first pair of knitted socks - I've got second sock-itis
14) A new pincushion - Woo-hoo! Done!! Check it here - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=352009.0 PS - NSFW!!
15) Learn how to weave - maybe make something - lets see how I do...
16) Make a t-shirt rug - scraps are waiting!
17) Find and customise some shelves for my new crafty corner - can you tell I'm chuffed as nuts?! lol!

18) Try out making some hair bows
19) Customise some pen holders for me- we did my housemates - need mine now!
20) Make some fabric boxes
21) Try to crochet a new doormat from the piles of bags for life I have (not sure I understand the concept of 'bag for life' yet lol!)
22) Make something with some cassette tape I hoarded rescued from the bin.
23) Make a new lightshade for my room
24) Try out melted beads/army men bowls that I've seen on here

25) Make a board game box inspired by this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=350056.0- WIP - just stopped to post
26) Do something creative with scrabble pieces...
27) Sweater boots
28) Make myself a new bag - I made my current one from jeans, but she's looking a bit ... 'life worn'
29) Make an amigurumi monster
30) Make more Amigurumi happy poo's
31) Finally make something from the amigurumi book that I've had for yonks
32) What is naalbinding?? Work it out, and have a go (deliberately open-ended!! Wink)
33) Make some singed flowers
34) Make glow jars for my room
35) Make a carrier bag holder - it's not normal that they explode out of my cupboard when I open the door  Embarrassed
36) Make a rosary for my housemate (or a mini one for the car)
37) Try to make my own labels - seen loads of techniques on here - need to 'man up' and try it out!!
38) Master newspaper gift bags
39) Crochet a christmas stocking
40) Make a 'embarrassing girly things' bag for my bag - fed up of pulling out what I think is a pen for someone!!  Shocked
41) Do the same as 40 for my housemate, except in crochet hook roll form
42) Try out making my own jiffy bags - there's a post/tute on here somewhere, will add later
43) make some coffee filter roses
44) Make a cig & lighter cosy/holder - my housemate is forever losing her lighter, which means I lose mine - to her!!
45) make my own home made face scrub - maybe christmas pressies if it works out
46) Try out making my own lip balm
47) Skittles vodka - I saw it on here the other day but then it disappeared and I can't find it again??!!
48) Make some fingerless gloves for me!!
49) Try to make these fantab Origami stars I'm seeing everywhere
50) Pressie for pregnant co-worker (eep - better get started she's due to drop in 8 weeks!!)

I think it would be fun, if we did a swap after this for some of the available items for those that participated and finished. Also it would be awesome to be paired up with someone that has a craft they made, that you can't make or can't do very well...What do you all think? Please throw out some suggestions!!

Hoping to do a personal swap for fabric/supplies

lady4feet I love your shirts... so inspiring.
And Deeder, I love your dress.

We poured concrete countertops today. Hooray! Some day in the not too distant future I will be able to use my kitchen again... and set up my craft nook too!

How hard were your counters? I saw some finished ones and thought they were so pretty but after reading a how to instructable on instructables.com I decided they would be to hard for me to tackle on my own (even with hubby help). Please post some pics when you're done.

Not too hard (although the hubby did most of the work Grin). We poured in place, as opposed to casting them upside down and installing later. The prep work is key. And a rented mixer. If you've never worked with concrete, I'd practice on some stepping stones or something small. We got a great book: Decorative Concrete put out by Sunset. It's really helpful. And I'll definitely post pics when it's all done.

OK, so I FINALLY completed another item on my 50 list!!  They are just elastic waist, pull on pants, but I LOVE the coral color and though I am the one modeling them, they fit too tight for me Sad  I inadvertently cut them with the grain going the wrong way, number one....and two, they are just too close cut anyway.  I love this pants pattern, but I need to modify it for the hips as my junk in the trunk is a little too much for most patterns to handle Cheesy
