You have vampire in your cleavage

I wanted to make my friend something a little different for Christmas, she's a True Blood fan so what could be more appropriate than a vampire sock monkey?

He's a leggy Viking vampire, had I known what a complete pain in das butt over the knee socks would be, I would have gone for the shorter option Tongue

His felt fangs, cos he's a softy really, and his blood vial and 'Vampire Groupie' charm which I forgot to tell her were actually for her to wear Embarrassed

My friend and I both have lower back tattoos, so it seemed only appropriate that he should have a tramp stamp - his, however, has glow in the dark fangs. Why can't they do that with real tattoos?

I can see how people get addicted to sock monkeys - this was my first and, apart from the lunatic legs, he was great to make. I see a whole troop coming on....

Really? That would be fantastic! I'll have to look into that, then of course decide exactly where a glowing tatt should be placed Wink

Thanks for the comments too  Grin

Thanks all Smiley I'm trying to finish some things for me (crocheting a storm here!) then I'm going to make some more to add to the 'you really need to start selling some of this stuff rather than just making things for no reason' pile

Love your sock monkey. You'll have to join Round 2 of the Sock &/or Glove Doll swap, coming in late January!!

Great job on the tattoo - and the necklace.

Thanks for the comments - I've had a comment elsewhere that I need to make a Yoda one Roll Eyes!

Smmarrt - tempting, very tempting...
