This blanket is the thing that I am most proud of in my entire crafting life.

It's done entirely in trebles using a filet crochet pattern for a doily. It's about 1.2m square which is big enough to snuggle up in.

I did each colour segment separately, joining them in as I went.

The design on the blanket is the Seal of Rassilon. It's one of the symbols used by the Time Lords in the old series of Doctor Who.

Here it is, featuring yours truly.

And here it is, so you can see the design clearly. Being held up by my fried Tess.

And here is some linkage to the pattern I used.

Fantastic, good work! Just saw the Tom Baker episode "The deadly assasin" where this seal was indeed to be seen  Cheesy

I LOVE IT  Grin I envy people with the kind of patience it takes to crochet a chart blanket.

That is a beautiful blanket! I'm a fan of the OOoooold Dr. Who series (I believe it was black and white?). Fantastic work!

I never watch Dr Who, and have no idea what Time Lords are, but to me, this is one stunning blanket!  Plus, it matches your dress!   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Most. Amazing. Thing. Ever.

Well, maybe 'ever' is pushing it a bit, but I do adore that blanket. Any chance you could put up a copy of the chart you used, or even a link to it? I'd like to add that blanket to my ever-growing list of patterns I wish I had time to crochet.....

Also, great job! :-)
