Don't worry, it's just a plastic boob.

so this is the first time i've sewn anything in a looooong time and I'm pretty proud of it.  it's also the first time in 10 years that i've decorated for christmas.  i decided that we should have cowboy boot stockings to go with our painting above the fireplace.  my bf really loves day of the dead stuff:

i found a pattern at familyfun.go.com and then tweaked it slightly

my stocking has old school tattoos

my bf picked out day of the dead fabric for his

i found this brown fabric with belt buckles printed on it.  i used that to make the heels of the boots.  mine has a star and his has a bull skull.
hanging out with all our day of the dead stuff

and the painting that started it all (i rotated it in my photo library but for some reason it won't upload that way)

he loves them and i hope you do too!  merry christmas!

Thanks! I didn't realize until after I posted it, that this isn't a board for completed projects.

Great idea!  I have a thing for el dia de los muertos as well, since that's my birthday.  Very well done and I love the collection on your mantel!  Smiley
