This is the pumpkins Christmas dress that I made with  burgundy taffeta from the home decor section at Hancocks. Then I used some gold satin ribbon for the trim. The dress took me forever to make because I first had to create a pattern, test it, tweak it, and then do a practice run at it so I would mess up the pretty fabric. After all of that I got this.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanx for looking  Smiley

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!

You did a great job! Amazing what you can do with decor fabrics. My daughter's grade 8 graduation dress fabric came from the home decor section! lol

Beautiful!  Good eye for fabric potential!

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Thank you. The best part about the fabric was that it was $5.50 a yard and I only needed one yard because it was 60 inches wide. Sometimes I forget about the home decor section, I should look there more often.
