@mudpuddles: Yep, it's felt. All the fabric I used - other than the conductive parts - are felt. You should post your remote, when you finish, I'd love to see it.

don't know if i'll make one i'm just thinking about it... and seeing as i just got a bunch of money from my grandpa and great uncle, and my birthday's coming up, i thing i might... okay, one more question does the kit come with several dock connectors? and is there enough yarn for more than one remote?

There's only one dock connector in the kit. But there's enough yarn to make two remote controls, in my experience. Fabric too, depending on how big your remote is.
