So I got dumped and cheated on and lied to by someone I very very deeply loved and as a distraction I thought it would be a good idea to make some Christmas cards for friends. My intent was for them to be sort of cheeky, funny, cute and sweet and definitely non-traditional (because none of my friends are really into Christmas, nor are any of them religious or anything like that) but my being bummed out seems to have translated into the cards themselves and..well, you'll see.
In any case, in some sad sort of way I think they are all funny and interesting and I hope my friends (and you, Craftster pals!) enjoy them.

This is the only one that was genuinely sweet and nice without any sass.

This one was hard to photograph. For a Catholic friend who claims to have some Israeli blood in her family. It says "Aren't you Jewish? Oh well. Happy Christmas Anyway!"

Says "Who gives a shit about trees?"

I promise this is a holiday season card, I'm just a jack ass and think being wrong is funny.

Says "Beer! It rhymes with cheer."

"Burn Christmas to the ground."

This one is my favorite. It's really cute and everything, but on the back I wrote "I don't give a fuck about Christmas."

Holidays are stupid and all sentiment and cheer should burn. <3

Good job on the cards!

I had someone I was very deeply in love with cheat on me and then dump me (and even move the girl in right after I moved out of our apartment.) I know how hard it is but it gets easier. It took me a long time not to feel the rage of 100 angry incredible hulks, but eventually I got to the point where I just didn't care anymore.

I love "make christmas sexy" and "beer rhymes with cheer".
sappy christmas themes are kind of intolerable when you are knee deep in text books and your roomate is drinking calc-ohol to consol herself after an exam.
You've made my procrastination much more enjoyable!

Love your cards I think my favorite is make Christmas sexy, because Christmas just isn't sexy enough!! You did a good job of channeling your hurt into some really awesome craftiness!
