My friend and I went to a vegan restaurant called Maggie's Mercantile. I ordered a dish called buffalo chickin'. But of coarse it was not real chicken! It tasted soooooo good and i have no idea what this fake chicken product is. It looked and tasted just like it! If anyone knows what it is or maybe even has a delicious recipe with this product in it please respond!! Thanks!

Go back to the restaurant and ask them.
No, really, ask them.  It will be viewed as a compliment.

Spending time on a google search of "Maggie Mercantile" reveals that their menu changes frequently, plus they aren't a national chain.

There are soooooo many "fake chicken" products and recipes out there.  Alot of them are really good.

i have no idea what that could be, but i go to a Buddhist Chinese restraunt that serves everything from fake chicken to veal to mutton and  at the front of the restraunt they have a huge freezer where you can buy all the basic "meats".  So if you have a Chinese Buddhist restraunt nearbye you might be able to see if they sell something like it and then copy the ingredient list.  Not very helpful, I know...
