That's gorgeous! How thick is the steel? It looks so delicate that I'd be scared to wear it because I'd be too afraid of damaging it.

Thank you!  Smiley It's about 1.3mm thick. I think it's best for formal wear, but my mother is wearing hers as an every day piece. It's stronger than I thought it would be when I originally designed it and I'm glad I went with steel sheeting for the silhouette. I'm going to be making a smaller one for my grandmother soon and will likely need to thicken up the branches on hers instead of scaling down the design. I don't think I would be able to file the branches if I scaled the whole thing down to the size she wants (2"). If I successfully make a smaller version I'll post an update!  Smiley Thank you again for your sweet comments!

The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists-Dickens

That's amazing! Do you laser cut the steel yourself?

This is really stunning work.  It may have taken months, but the work seems to be well worth it!

This is fabulous! I can't imagine the amount of work you put in to this piece but it really paid off. I love the way the hummingbirds beak is so delicately touching the flower. It's so delicate looking, I am in love with this!

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.
