Wondering what to do with one skein of Lion Brand Microspun?

I made this really soft Feather and Fan scarf, which seems more suited toward decorative 'indoor' wear, vs. the sort of thing you'd wear to keep warm:

The very easy pattern is here:

I've been trying do do that feather and fan for so long, and keep messing it up. I'm working on some other lace scarves, including branching out from knitty, but I'm going to give that another shot. Thanks for the link

I found that pattern to be pretty easy to work, but I had to definitely pay attention to what row I was on.  I had to rip a couple of times when I realized I'd just done the wrong row.  Whoops.  After a bunch of pattern repeats it does become pretty easy to tell where you are if you put it down.

Good luck!

I was checking out your website.(fantastic btw) I too have the Goodhousekeeping Book of Needlecrafts. My mother got it for Christmas from my godmother the year I was born (30 yrs ago) and she gave it to me this Christmas.

What a gem of a book that is!

I also made this pattern with the microspun from lion brand! I found it fun, but yes you do have to pay attention. I enjoy knitting with microspun, but you have to be carefuln about splitting the yarn!
