I made a tie skirt for my little sister (she wore my original 12 year old tie skirt to BITS) last Christmas that didn't go so well, so I made another this year that went swimmingly.  I had remnants left from both which turned out to be the perfect size to recover my dining chairs.

Thanks!  I just couldn't bear the thought of tossing them when there was enough to do *something* with the leftovers... plus the thin ones were a lot of work to throw away!

I can imagine how long it took you to sew them together in the first place.  Now your hard work has paid off and you've two projects out of "one" fabric and a lovely set of chairs to boot.
