This is my first time knitting socks!  Might as well make it baby socks!  I got the pattern from the Spud and Chloe blogs.  I like them so much, I'm going to make a pair for my co-worker who's having a baby boy any day now...

It's very easy to make!  I'm using metal dpns I had when I first started knitting beanies.  I think I'm going to switch to bamboo, because it kept slipping out!  That's going to be my excuse to why there's a couple of mistakes in the pair (which I won't point out.  LOL).

I found out that the 2x2 rib stretches too much for newborn babies' feet.  So I made anoter pair using just 1x1 ribbing and it's so much better.

edit:  I made another pair!  It's for my co-worker's newborn and I used the 1x1 ribbing like I said I was.
