Ok I have a pair of slightly ill-fitting but still very nice looking converses

and I am attempting to turn them into these

So I hope using a pair of boots that fit me well and using the actual converses as a bit of a guide I can make the boots reasonably well. So I guess I am asking is my plan reasonable and possibly workable? Am I missing anything or overlooking anything? Any comments or criticisms are welcome. Thank you in advance.

You're in luck! I just stumbled across re-doing Chucks literally ten minutes ago Tongue

Click on "The All-Star Fabric Swap." You'll have to extend the pattern so that it goes farther up your leg.
