A while ago I thought "Wouldn't it be great if...?!" So I decided to make a set of chatspeak jewellery. Of course, I got laughed at for being a nerd. *shrugs* I started this set a few months back, and finally completed it today. Here it is in all it's nerdish glory:

These are the first (and only, for now) pieces of jewellery I've made on a bead loom. The choker was made on a homemade loom I made from styrofoam packing, the earrings were made on a cheapie bead loom I found at the craft shop.

I'm really, really pleased with how these turned out. I hope you like them too!

these are inspired. i would definitely rock the choker! how long did they take to make? and V impressed with the homemade loom. you should post a pic of that too!

The earrings took maybe 2-2 1/2 hours each to make. And the choker... Hmm, I'm not sure, but I'll say 5+ hours.

Here's a picture of my homemade loom:

You tie the threads around the pins then secure the ends at the other side. The only thing wrong with it was I kept having to tighten the tension.

All I can say is "LOL!" Too funny and not to mention it's cute. I'd rock them both. Makes me want to pull out my bead loom kit from when I was a kid.
