I'm making this mini purse for my friend, her birthday is soon (argh! i also have to make my other friend that corset shirt too!) but the purse needs spicing up...It's forest green and a light green fabric with bubbles on the inside.  the outside is like immitation suade.  I have alot of black lace...but i ran out of green ribbon.  I do have some little chains and jewelery i can take apart to decorate it a bit.  Anyone has any ideas on how to spice it up?
I was thinking of adding some cute pockets...for like her mirror and a small change bag inside.

Since it's already sewn together, a really easy way to add character to handbags is by adding some brooches. You could make your own, or use some vintage ones... Are there handles? Or, use some chunky trinkets, pendants, etc. and attach it to a clip that could clip the the handles.  How about eyelets? Grommets?  I LOVE using chains on handbags!!! You could drape them on the front. Hmm... your picture is kinda dark... I hope this helps though.

I'm going to take better pictures of it as soon as i get better lighting in the room.  I added some brooches and a pocket in the front....I still need to add handles, I was thinking chains, but it's going to be a gift for a friend who is...I dunno how to say it XD but i LOVE chains on em, i made a purse out of two cargo pockets on this pair of courduroy pants i had...and i made the handles out of some dog chains i had XD
