This year I have decided to make my Christmas present so I have been busy crafting for a while.

First this is not the one I'm happiest with as I messed up the binding> I made it for my 87 year ols great aunt (for her birthday) and she promised that when she's old, she'll uses it Smiley

Then I made this one for my sister who is a fan of Kaffe Facett

and in action (sorry it's been raining for days and I can't take any nice outdoor ones)

And the last one which was the hardest as it is actually hand quilted (just in the ditch and a square or circle inside the blocks)
the top on its own

in action

(Great shot of my messy house the kids are in their lego period AAGGHHHH)
and a close up (that was taken before the quilting)

Comments and criticism most welcome

back to quilting...hurray and I dusted my art material Cheesy

Lovely work.  I'm LOVING how simple the second one is without being boring at all.  I've been looking for just the right pattern for a friend's baby boy (due in March), and I think I might use this (only in manlier colors, of course).

wow these are gorgeous. i adore the colours in the first one. Your family are very lucky to have you making such amazing things for them

I love personal swaps,  I print a lot of random fabric, usually with no purpose in mind.  let me know if you want any of it.
