No im not a stripper actually but I do have one on my newly revamped dressing table =] Is anyone familiar with freecycle? I managed to pick up a gorgeous kidney bean dressing table with cut glass and matching stool. The dressing table fabric had to go which was a nasty faded pink but the wood itself was in great condition so i didn't need to sand anything off - yay!

The nasty faded pink material that im not quite sure what to do with. Only kept it for measuring purposes.

All stripped bare and removed any tacks around the outside

Painted 2 coats pink, crystal knobs in place.

I then scowered the internet for a stripper stencil and luckily found a half decent one. I used simple black spray paint and touched up any major bleeding with the rest of the pink paint I had. Voila finished complete with glass.

Like i said i kept the material that went around the edges so hopefully I can get a black curtain made up. Dealing with material and sewing is not my best point. My bf also bought me a french mirror which im spray painting black and attaching some jewels to but thats another project Wink Either way I loves it my new dressing table=]
