We dressed up my 4 month-old as the Travelocity Lawn Gnome!

I made her little black shoes.The hat was sturdy felt. I glued cotton balls to the beard, and hot glued the beard to the hat. The hat is also hot glued. The belt is Daddy's. I got the pants from the hand-me-down bag, and the sweatshirt from the thrift store (plus she can wear it again).





The costume cost me less than $5 total. It was minimal effort, but SO much fun!

Also, you should watch Amelie.  I kind of wonder of Travelocity got the traveling gnome idea from that movie...
