I want to make a zip up sweatshirt for my boyfriend for his birthday--i was wondering where to get fabric and what kind would be appropriate... i want to make it with like a waffle knit on the inside?

any help finding fabric--what kind its called and any websites would be great!

I'm using the one tutorial on here and if i want to make it lined--would i just make double pieces of the body pieces and sew them together?> help!

Yes, if you want to line it you can just cut doubles of the pieces out of the lining (waffle fabric.)
You'll probably want to look for a knit fabric, the weight will depend on how warm you want the jacket to be.
The employees at any local fabric store should be happy to help, just explain what you need the fabric for.
