Does anyone know how this sweatshirt/jacket works? I can't figure it out! How do both ends wind up snapping together in the back? I can't wrap my head around this one (pun sorry).
Help or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

It looks like it just has snaps on the top corner of either "flap", so that when it's wrapped around the top corners meet at the middle and have snappies on them.

But while you're folding the bottom flap over, you would have to be careful to keep the top one over it so it doesn't roll up under it. I just tried it with a scarf and it seemed to work, but I'm not sure.

I love your drawings Mivzi! Unfortunately I'm rather dense tonight and still don't understand how the bottom flap ends up on the outside in the back. Maybe I need to do a physical scarf-based experiement myself? Ah!

Looks to me like it's just a snap on the back of the sweater, not on the end of the other flap.

Here's my thoughts on the matter.

In the picture on the left, the part marked x should actually go under the other flap. so it wraps like in the second image.
the flap that is on the top has a hole where the X is marked.  Then the part marked x on the first part goes through that hole and you can tie or snap in the back.

I hope I made some sense and it doesn't sound too much like hunting for missing pirates treasure.
