This is technically not my craft.
Recently my DH's grandma had come visiting. She's 92, and she stayed with us for around 3 months. She asked me for a WIP of mine, and here's the final result:

It's a simple afghan, which measures 2.5ft X 5 ft.
It was so heartening to see her light up whenever she was knitting. We were worried her spondilitis will start acting up, but she was a real trooper. It took her 3 months, but she finished the entire thing. I am so proud of her!

Tell her that it's beautiful!  I'm 24, and knitting makes me light up too  Cheesy

Beautiful Afghan and Beautiful Story. My grandmother will be 81 next week and she tries to knit every now and then but her eyesight is really bad. She's the person who taught me to knit and sew and I will be eternally grateful to her Smiley

Tell your Gma-in-law she did a fabulous job! Smiley

Thank you for your compliments. I'll pass them on. Smiley
She is mostly on her bed now, but it felt good to see her do something she liked. And her stories of bygone era are enthralling.
