I received the most beautiful glass flamingo ornament from pinokeeo as a Christmas Day present, but haven't managed to take pictures yet.  She commissioned it from a local artist and it's going to join the flamingo flock.

I love seeing what everyone got for the waiting packages.  They are fun too see afterwards.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

Ok, so I'm a little late posting what was in my stocking...I posted everything else when it arived but have been having contractions since the day after Christmas...not getting squat done.  My partner sent me a stocking full of cotton yarn.  Five balls of patterned cotton yarn to be exact.  Which was on my list so I could make bibs and that is what I have been doing to help with the contractions.  Lost the pic of the yarn but here are the 16 out of the 17 bibs I made with the yarn she sent and then bibs with the stocking.  Any plain yarns were from my stash or picked up the day after Christmas on clearance :-)

middle row the orange bib on the left has a twin that was already given away to a lady from playgroup that just had a baby girl.  These are only the ones I've made with the yarn she sent, nearly 30 made since Christmas.  It has been a sanity saver and the only thing keeping me calm through the contractions.  I swear this girl will be born with her mother crocheting at this rate...LOL!   I wish I'd had this much variety in yarns when I was making the bib for her little one...these are so much cooler than the one's I was making...off white, since I had a giant ball of it, with colored trim if they were lucky...most were plain.

thanks again missapril

And I'm rambling so I'm going to say good night!

Wow, that's a lot of bibs.  And they look very nice.

Take care of yourself and I hope everything is going good for you and new baby.
