I sewed my own labcoat last year, for my Dr. Horrible costume so I thought how hard can a Snow White costume be?

(The full effect)

I made the skirt with that wonderful circle skirt tutorial (http://www.whatthecraft.com/tuts/circ.htm) but decided to make a stiff waistband with a zipper and hook & eye closures. I used a bedsheet from the Salvation Army, but wore a slip underneath since it was see-through.

(Very Wrinkly after a night in the rain)

I sewed strips of red ribbon to the sleeves of a puffy white shirt. I also took in the sides since I didn't want it to look lumpy under the tank top bodice.

I added a strip of the sheet to the front of my tank top and used white felt to make a collar.

(You can see the stitches now, but they were hidden when I wore it. The collar could go  up, flat, or folded)
I used more red ribbon for the headband. I especially like the bow.
