I made this flamingo costume for my daughter totally from scratch, including the face mask and hair accessory.  The mask was a plain white mask I bought at Hobby Lobby, glued the pink feathers on and the beak was made from the same fabric I used for the body of the suit.  I hot glued the beak on and painted the tip black.  I used an alligator clip and glued on the feathers for the hair accessory, its hard to see, but it is embellished in the middle with an old pink diamond shaped ear ring.

The costume was such a big hit!  She was the only flamingo.  And people were so tickled with it, so many times people laughed and said "Oh, my!  A flamingo!!".

Yay!  I love flamingos, and this costume is so cute. Smiley  The picture of her posing with the other lawn ornaments amuses me to no end.  I think you just inspired me for next Halloween!
