Mine may be slightly different as I read the directions and then crocheted it without having the pattern available.

The yarn I used was chunky, so it doesn't close all the way for a simple gathered hat. I do love the colors though. I plan to make another with coordinating yarn in green and tan. They will be for my neices. I need to make another for a friend who is goin through chemo, it just needs to be soft.
