I made a messenger bag for a friend of mine (didn't take pics I'm afraid) and when she saw this long wallet I made https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=320223.0 she fancied one to match her bag.  So here it is - same fabric as the bag, and using HeartofMary's pattern (which I highly recommend - for sale at her Etsy shop).  I prefer the fabric in the one I made earlier, but I like the snap fastener on this one and I bought a 7" zip instead of fudging a longer one, and it made for a much tidier job.

Comments and criticism very welcome  Smiley

Oh, nice! Love the snap in the flower. The zip pocket looks really good.

I love the angled flap on this, and the placement of your snap is perfect for that fabric (which is so pretty!). I just went and bought the pattern because of your post. I noticed that she has a tab for a closure, so I'm guessing you just made a modified flap and attached it the same way (as a giant sized tab). I really need a wallet, and I just love all of the compartments/pockets in this one!

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

Ooh.... I like everything about that wallet... The colors, the shape, the neatness... man... If I had any money, I would buy that wallet pattern. It's a very nice design...

I love that! I just ordered that patten, love how you did an angled flap instead of the tab flap!

Thanks very much for the lovely comments - yep, I just made the flap to just a little shorter than the width of the wallet, same method as the tab closure.  Thanks, I thought the placement of the snap was pretty cute  Wink
