The posting title is a quote from my wedding day. I must have said it about 10 times (once to each guest at our wedding).

I think I had a reason to be proud, though. I used a simple tutorial on Martha Stewart's site to make a ring pillow out of a simple knitted swatch and a piece of felt. For the yarn, I used Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky in Persian Peacock (M124). On size 10 needles, I knitted a 5" square. I ended up buying some white roving off of Etsy to make the felt pillow that I sewed the swatch to. It was my first time wet felting... it was really fun!

Once I assembled the pillow, I sewed a piece of thin black ribbon to the center, to hold the rings in place. Here's a picture of the pillow and the rings:


You can't see my awesome felt in that one though - here's a pic that shows it off a little bit:


I was really pleased with how it came out. I hope you like it too!

Really beautiful and surprisingly unique!  I love the paper flowers too!  I love it!
