I hope this is the right place to share this saw that I made.

Yes, but you have to spin it by hand.

This is an awesome toy, and so is your avatar.

I took the liberty of tagging your post, so that it would appear in the tag cloud under woodwork.

What kind of equipment are you using?  It looks to me like maybe a bandsaw or scroll saw.

You also might want to take my poll and add yourself to the mix.  You do very nice work.

pinokeeo,
Yes, it was mostly done with a scroll saw.  Best $109 I ever spent.
What is a "tag cloud"? I can't find it.
I will take your poll later.  It doesn't look like too many wodworkers here.

At the top of this page.  On the left is a link right next to your heading that says "add a tag".  On this particular page you'll see that I added woodwork to your page.

On the right in the blue boxes there is one that says "view topics by tag".  If you click on it, it will take you to the tag cloud.  It looks like a lot of random words, scattered about.  Scroll down to see the one that says woodwork.  Click on that and it will show you a long list of woodwork items.  Most of them are scattered about in the miscellaneous board.

Believe it or not, there are many woodworkers on Craftster.  I'm trying to get everybody together, so that we can see how many people actually work with wood.  We'll never get our own board unless we show a united front.  That's the reason for the poll.  So far, there are only eighteen or nineteen crafters who have added their info.  I'm hoping to get quite a few more, so that the powers-that-be will see that there are enough of us to consider the new board.

When people come here and don't find what they want, they leave.  That's what happens to woodworkers.  We want a cohesive group, the same as knitters and crocheters.  Because it's not being offered, woodworkers leave.

I hope you'll add your info.  There's strength in numbers.

I read your post.  I'm impressed with your bio and your work.  Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your work.

And everything helps.  We can only hope the mods will notice.

Keep up the good work.  There aren't many toymakers left.  I think we are a dying breed.  I'd love to see more of your work.

I'll post some of my toys, so you can see what I do.

Nope, it's varnished with polyurathane.
