It is fabulous - and would have looked more so had I ironed it, but me and irons and transfers are a dangerous mix at the best of times, let alone on a Saturday night Roll Eyes

No longer swapping, so please ignore any expressions of interest in the Ideas thread

The counted cross-stitch matryoshkas are so cute.  I would love to try this craft but I couldn't manage doing that with my eyes.
Pinky, thanks for answering my questions.  I might just try to make something from paper mache some day.  Years back I think we used flour and water to make paste but Elmers is so much simpler.

I am woefully late in posting these... juliminustheE sent me this nice package.

First off is a keyring with two litlte Matryoshkas and some beads.  My 6 year old loves this.

The next was a whimsical folded storage pouch in bright cheery colors.  It trifolds with an appliqued doll on the outside.

Then came a tote bag in my favorite color, purple.  It had some appliques on the outside, again, claimed by my 6 year old.

And finally two matryoshka appliques for me to put on an item of my choice.

What a fun swap theme, wish my life wasn't so very crazy right now...  Thank you JuliminustheE!

I got a fantastic package from Melmakespretty!

Firstly, this cute door hanging organiser. It's so neat and the applique is lovely. Beautiful stitching!

Next, this cute apron. Mel, your sewing skills are awesome. Everything is so prefect and neat. I love this and will use it when I cook my lunch (so I don't get my work clothes dirty). I'd model it but I'm wearing 2 thermal jumpers and a ski jacket. Too cold to take them off and I look a little silly with an apron on top!  Cheesy
EDIT: Here we go -

Next, a zip pouch. Just what I needed to keep my memory cards and spare batteries for my camera. Perfect.

Also, check out this jewellery. The earrings are purple (my favourite!) and the beads will do perfectly for something I have in the planning stage.

Lastly, this necklace. It was silly to photograph the black on black, but the necklace is lovely. I got earrings from Melmakespretty last year and I think they use the same black beads. Wooo, I have a set now!

And cards. Always useful! I think these shall be Christmas cards.

Sorry for the dull pics. I'm inside and I don't want to go outside into the snow to get any more pics.  Cheesy

Just for you, Mel, I'll take an action shot this evening. I'll do it first thing when I walk in the door before I start shedding gloves/scarves/hats/earmuffs  Cheesy Cheesy

Here's the items I sent Mokba43. She's had trouble tracking down her camera cable.

I sent her an embroidered picture, some jewelery (earrings and bracelet), a neckwarmer with a cabled Matryoshka doll, and two Matryoshka doll outline brooches.

Sadly the postal strike means my package from Mokba43 hasn't arrived yet.
