I thought I would joined the crowd and post some  of my crafts for my up coming wedding. The date is  july 10 2010. As of right now it is 9 months till the wedding so I haven't done alot, and I would like some ideas if anyone has any ideas for crafty things I am all ears.

so here is the list of things that I would like to make for my wedding

invitations ** finished and mailed**
table runners ** finished**
favors  ** bags finished but unfilled**
flower girl's dress ** finished
sash's for the bride's maids  ** finished didn't take a pic sorry**
center pieces ** bought all materials**
tissue paper puff balls for the decorations
other decorations
save the dates   **Done**
guest book  ** Done**
wine **Done**
decorate cake server ** Done**
programs ** Done**
I think thats it but I'm sure I will add more in the future.

here are some pictures of things I have already made:

here is the flower girls dress

Here is the card box

Favor bags, I am going to fill these with coffee beans

Programs,  this is the front. For the back I made 3 different word games.

these are engagement invitations for some reason I couldn't  get a good picture of them.

here is my table runners I have finished 15 of them so far and I had to order a whole bolt of fabric as well but it was worth the money I love this fabric and pattern and the colours are perfect match for the wedding.

Well you're going to be pretty busy, aren't you?!  Congratulations on the engagement and I love that fabric, it's beautiful!  Good luck with all your projects. Smiley

I did the wedding invitations for my wedding. I went onto a few different wedding invitations websites for inspiration. It's a good way to brainstorm if you don't know exactly what you want them to look like.

Bergman:  Looks like a good list.  My date is August 8, 2010 and I hven't done much either but am aiming to make just about the same items you are.  I just started a list of things, but I can't decide on a color theme or anything!  There are so many options for me I can't choose!

Lex87:  I'm just beginning to think of invitations and would love your advice.  I'm attempting to spend as little money as possible!  Any words of wisdom?

For cost effective wedding invitations, consider using gift wrap (if you are looking for pretty paper for the front of the card) - it is MUCH cheaper buying a roll of gift wrap than to buy pretty printed papers from a stationery/paper store. I used gift wrap for the front covers of the church leaflets for my wedding (April 10th, 2010) and added some organza ribbon and I'm VERY happy with the result!

Everything looks great so far!

Your list looks good, but if you want more to add (and depending on what your wedding is going to be like, and your personal style) maybe a ring bearer pillow, a garter, and a veil?

Congratulations and good luck!
