Awe that's awesome, I hope your ferret loves it. I too am new to knitting, I'm just about finished a people sweater, but it's all one colour, so I must commend you on your ability to work so well with a pattern of two!

Great job, keep up the knitting! Smiley

Okay, firstly: that ferret is adorable. What's his (her?) name?

Now, to the knitting - that's your first project? Hot damn. I've been knitting off and on for... 8 years (started when I was nine), and I still haven't tackled changing colours in rows OR sweaters of any size. Colour me impressed!

How cute of a sweater and your ferret is even cuter.  Not only am I amazed on the sweater Im also amazed you managed to get your ferret to stay still long enough to take a picture.  Thats talent there too!  My old ferret, I couldnt get her to stay still long enough to get a picture.  The energetic little thing was only still when she was sleeping so all her pictures is of her sleeping.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

Holy crap!  For your first knitted project, that's freakin' awesome!
