Hi there,

I've made a pair of shoes using newspaper and gaffer tape to get the shape.
The shape of it is complete, however, I am looking for something that I can coat the shoes so that it produces a smooth surface.  At the moment, with the amount of tape I've used, the surface is rough and bumpy.

I would like to know what I can use to cover the shoes so that the surface is smooth.  I could you fabric, but then there will be seams which I want to avoid.  Using fabric will be my last option.

Is there a flexible coating solution I could use?  Latex? or some sort of Silicon?  Also, I will need it to be able to hold paint which I will seal with a waterproof sealant.

I am based in the UK and I would prefer to be able to buy the solution from a shop as I don't have a lot of time.

I will really appreciate if anyone can help.

Thank you ^_^
