Another Halloween is almost here and so I've made another monster afghan this year.
(Please click on photo for enlargement).

This is Count Dracula as portrayed by Bela Lugosi.

I used this photo of Lugosi and adjusted the exposure, tint, color etc to make it simple enough to crochet. Then I graphed it at Knitpro.

It's tunisian crocheted using a size J cabled afghan hook again. The yarn is all "I Love This Yarn" from Hobby Lobby so it's really nice and soft.

Here is front and back side by side so you can compare.

Happy Halloween everybody!!!

The last photo is of the back. I put it next to one of the front so you can compare the two.

I love tunisian crochet! It's easy once you get the hang of it.
Just start out with simple designs at first. Once you get the hang of color changing you can move on to harder more detailed things.!

I Love This Yarn is really soft!

oh I didn't even notice, i'm sorry! It still looks pretty good on the back.

I'm used to color changing, I made an American flag afghan for my boyfriends mom and I made him a black and white Smashing Pumpkins flag but I either carried or dropped the yarn for the changes. But I love what can be accomplished with tunisian crochet and I will definitely have to try it!

I love this yarn is really soft and really nice to work with while you are crocheting!
