Say person A can machine sew, but they can't crochet, and person B can crochet but can't sew. In this swap, they'd be paired up so that person A can receive some amigurumi or a hat and a scarf, and person B can get an apron or a poppet.

I seem to remember a swap like this before, but I'm not sure.
Is anyone interested in this? I think I'd really like it, and I can organize if it's a popular idea. Cheesy

I'd be down for this, as long as its not too many points.

I like this idea! I might do it. I can: sew, stencil, embroider, make lip gloss, make basic candles, make some jewellery, do some paper crafts, and I'm a perma-beginner knitter.... probably missing things.

I can't: crochet, make soap, make journals, quilt (I want to learn soon though!), ... and probably plenty more that I don't KNOW I can't do Wink

I liked this swap last time, and I'd be down for it again.  The only thing is, if I am remembering correctly, last time I was partnered with someone who could do some things I couldn't, but those things were lower on my wishlist, and I think it was the same on my part- the stuff I could make wasn't very high on her list of things she wanted most.  (Not that I didnt like what I got- I did!)

Maybe we could solve that problem with more communication prior to partnering?   Like we can advertise ourselves and feel each other out for what each person can do, and then maybe provide some input or partnering requests.  Also in doing that, maybe it will convince some more of the rare-craft crafters to sign up if they see there is a need/desire.  Does that sound too complicated?
