The Flying Spaghetti Monster!!

Spaghetti Monster 'without' sauce (chocolate)

Spaghetti Monster with sauce :] (coconut)

For my brother's birthday. The Flying Spaghetti Monster (all you Pastafarians know what I'm talking about). The sticks that the eyes are made of are just vanilla Oreo cookie sticks and the eyes are gummy eyeballs. The sauce was strawberry sauce and the spaghetti is made from cream cheese icing. And the meatballs are those little cream filled mini Hostess cupcakes. Kinda cheated though and bought store bought cakes since the day they were made was the day of his birthday. Either way, I think it turned out great and the Flying Spaghetti Monsters were mighty delicious.

Love LOVE LOVE this!!!!  So awesome and tasty looking, I'm remembering this, and feel that perhaps my birthday will need one.  (And it looks doable, even for me with my somewhat limited skills!)

I bow at your feet, and FSM's noodley apendages too, of course.

His Noodlyness must have heard my prayers. My husband's b-day is coming up and I was trying to figure out how to make an FSM cake that I could handle.

Did you use regular icing for his noodly appendages or did you have to something to change the consistency of the icing?

Fantastic! What a clever way to make such a great cake. I bet he loved it!

Fiber & dye fanatic. I use wool, silk, pearls, beeswax, feathers in my creations. Let me know if you prefer vegan. I can do! Up/Re/cycled, nature & beauty inspired. Do you make beautiful natural/nature oriented stuff? Brooches, miniatures, useful items & more I would love! Let's do a swap!
