Anyone up for a round of the fill a box swap?  If you don't know what it is, you will fill a small flat rate box up with supplies and and such that you aren't going to use and you will receive the same size box stuffed full of stuff in return.  You obviously want to cram your box with things that your partner will actually use.  Since it uses flat rate boxes I think past rounds have been US only.

I searched for this topic on this board and couldn't find it so I apologize if it's already on here somewhere....

At the moment, there's a holiday fill a box swap in progress.  I think it just closed last night or today.

I am pretty sure that one was all crafted items though.  I had to stop myself from signing up cause I need to focus on Christmas that I need to be making for family and such.

Here is a link to the last round I participated in https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=265034.0

and the gallery

Yeah, that's definitely different than the Holiday swap.  Maybe you should relabel your subject line to say fill a box with supplies.

I didn't go through the whole gallery, but it seemed like there was a lot of fabric being sent all over.  I wouldn't mind a swap like this, except that I don't sew and don't own any fabric or notions.

It might be interesting to see what comes up though.  I think I'll stay tuned for awhile.

I love the idea of supplies, as I will not have a lot of crafting time.

I would love a supplies swap. I don't sew but I bind books, do paper crafts, make jewelery and felt. Bookbinding and paper craft supplies would be ace.

i would do this. This is a great way to re-inspire yourself by "turning over" your stash of supplies.
you get paired up with someone who has interests you can fulfill with supplies.

I would be in. This is super easy and way more fun than shopping Smiley

There didn't seem to be alot of interest in this but there was some discussion in the 44 cent swap of doing a small flat rate box or envelope so I have updated this idea.
